Accounts Assistant-Business Development Coordinator KTL
“KTL culture is based on respect, cultural diversity and inclusion.”
Tell us about yourself?
I grew up in Romania and moved to Ireland at 22 years of age.
I joined KTL in March 2019 as a business development coordinator.

What did you study?
In Romania, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Tourism. After a few years in Ireland, I decided to study accountancy. I progressed from a basic diploma in bookkeeping and payroll to now being in my second year of studying for my ACCA exams.

What does your role involve?
My role involves looking after the weekly P&Ls, conducting monthly reconciliation for different accounts, approving POs and invoices, and overseeing the business development department.

How has your role evolved while at KTL?
I started out in the business development department and then gradually moved to the finance department. The work I do supports my study and I’m building experience in the accountancy field.

Could you describe your journey with KTL?
The finance team welcomed me with open arms back in 2019 and I am delighted to be part of such a wonderful and skilled team.

How would you describe the KTL culture?
KTL culture is based on respect, cultural diversity, and inclusion. The finance team truly feels like a family. We value and care about our work and we support each other – no matter what issue arises.

Where do you see yourself in the future?
My career goal for the future is to pass all my ACCA exams and become a certified chartered accountant. On a personal front, I really hope that soon I will be able to travel more!
