When did you join KTL?

I joined KTL in March 2024.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

As a Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) advisor, I ensure compliance with all our sites' health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control.

 

Health and Safety: I devise practices to maintain health and safety standards on-site, identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and investigate accidents.

Environmental Best Practices: I promote ecological awareness and compliance with regulations, monitor environmental impact, and suggest improvements.

Quality Control: I carry out inspections to ensure high-quality standards are met in our projects.

What do you enjoy most about working at KTL?

I love travelling and visiting different sites, as well as the entire KTL culture.

What makes KTL different, and sets it apart from other companies you’ve worked for?

KTL provides a lovely work-life balance, which is crucial for me, especially with a hectic home life. I’m a proud Mum of five amazing children, now adults. The support I receive from my manager, the SHEQ team, and the project team is incredible.

How do you like to enjoy your time outside of work? I’ve heard you’ve some great hobbies, could you tell us about them?

My two main passions are music and roller skating. I was a singer for over 20 years, and my midlife crisis (as my kids call it) is roller skating. I was a skater in my younger years and have continued skating weekly in my older years. Probably, my roller skates cost more than my car!
