When did you join KTL?

I joined KTL at the end of July 2024, so I’m still fairly new to the company.​

​

What is your role and responsibilities?

As Project Director, I’m responsible for managing one of KTL’s client accounts from “End to End”. This means overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, execution, and final delivery. My role also involves coordinating with teams to ensure we meet our high-quality standards, deadlines, and budget requirements while maintaining strong client relationships.

What do you enjoy most about working at KTL?

I’ve spent the last 10 years being based away from Scotland, certainly workwise, and I’ve worked on several flagship programs and gained a lot of experience. However, given where I am, both personally and professionally, this career move was very important for me. I was looking for a role that not only offered professional challenges but also had a great company culture. Having worked closely with KTL in the past, I knew their ‘people-first approach’ and high level of service would make them the right fit. Since joining, my expectations have been exceeded. The supportive and collaborative culture at KTL, with both familiar and new faces, has been a key factor in helping me feel part of the team from day one.

What makes KTL different, and sets it apart from other companies you’ve worked for?

What sets KTL apart is the people and the way they work together. There’s a real sense of engagement that you don’t always find everywhere. The culture is incredibly positive, and the level of support I’ve received has been outstanding. It’s rare to feel so integrated into a company so quickly, but KTL’s commitment to creating a welcoming and productive environment has made all the difference.

How do you like to enjoy your time outside work?

Outside of work, I’m busy keeping up with my three boys and their activities. I try to stay active by exercising regularly and playing golf whenever I get the chance. Football is also a big passion of mine. Although I don’t play anymore, I’m still an avid fan and travel to matches regularly.

What are your goals for the future at KTL?

I’m excited about the future here at KTL. My immediate goal is to deliver high standards on the client account I manage and strengthen the relationships KTL have built. Long-term, I’m looking forward to contributing to more large-scale projects and helping the company grow even further while mentoring new team members along the way.
