Paddy Brogan
Operations Director for Telecoms Ireland and Power
“KTL has certainly grown and diversified, but it has managed to hold on to the core values it was founded upon.”
When did you join KTL?
I began working as a telecoms rigger in 2002, and have performed a number of roles since. From managing clients’ warehouses to logistics management, and I was just recently promoted to my current position.
How has the company supported your career progression?
In 2014, KTL sponsored my studies for a Diploma in Supply Chain Management with the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics, and then, in 2017, a bachelor’s degree in business with Carlow IT. That led to me becoming a programme manager, and moving to London for a year to help with the roll-out of the Vodafone Metro project.
You’ve been with the company for nearly 20 years, how has it changed in that time?
KTL has certainly grown and diversified, but it has managed to hold on to the core values it was founded upon. Hard work is rewarded, and there is a family ethos that has remained.
What is great about your job?
No two days are the same in this industry and every day brings a new challenge. The highly skilled and motivated staff at KTL are focused on delivering solutions, and with such a dedicated and hard-working team in place, we deliver the best results for our clients. It’s great to be part of that.
