Needs to Do

Plant Operator Training for all KTL machinery is desirable. Required operator training will be given in advance and all certifications must be valid and current.

Responsible for operating large plant as required (MEWP, mini-digger, teleporter, HI-AB
-
etc).
-
Deliver utility poles to and from job sites with HIAB.
-
Responsible for ensuring items for delivery are handled correctly, protected during delivery and arrives at site fit for purpose.

Ensure all deliveries are completed in a safe and timely manner.

Collect and verify delivery instructions.
-
Utilise KTL software applications as appropriate to the role.
-
Effective and respectful communication with the public and clients.

Assist in ensuring the warehouse is always kept in a tidy and safe manner when

Daily inspection of plant and report deviations to Plant Manager in a prompt manner

Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and equipment.

Comply with driving rules and regulations in conjunction with KTL driving procedures and policies.

Responsible for ensuring that all relevant site documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

Be aware of and ensure compliance with KTL’s SHEQ Management System.

Out of hours work as required to react to client needs. i.e. storm damage
-
Occasional civils work on site

Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Plant Manager, and Project Team.
