#KTL boosts network capacity for EE’s 5G customers at Glastonbury Festival.

KTL partnered with EE to install 80 GHz EBAND, high-capacity microwave links at Glastonbury Festival this year to boost network capacity.

The growing demand for connectivity at Glastonbury festival is fuelled by festival goers making and receiving calls, messaging, uploading images, live video streaming, and making contactless payments.

EE’s statement to KTL on the installations completed at Glastonbury: ‘’Big thanks to you guys [KTL] for a very smooth week in Glastonbury. From what we can see it has all gone very well and I’m sure the teams worked long hours to get this in, so pass on our thanks and appreciation.’’
