We spoke with Nelson Coelho, our experienced #KTL On The Day (OTD) Manager about Portugal Day on June 10th.

We learned some interesting facts about Portugal and how he’ll be celebrating this year!

Also known as 'Day of Portugal, Camões, and the Portuguese Communities', this special day honours Luís de Camões, Portugal's national icon.

Portugal Day has been celebrated annually since its inception, except during a military coup in 1974.

Did you know that Portugal is one of the oldest nations in Europe and the world? Its capital, Lisbon, is even older than Rome by four centuries!
