KTL supporting employee well-being


At KTL, our people power is our greatest asset and we want employees to be successful in their professional and personal lives. That’s why we support our people with the Employee Assistance Programme for Ireland and UK staff.


It is aimed at ensuring our colleagues are happy and supported to live their best life – for themselves, their teams, our business and our customers.


The EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) is a 24/7 well-being and support programme for KTL employees, dedicated to providing support online and via telephone services which are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.


“EAP is an aid to deal with personal or work-related problems that may affect wellbeing and impact effectiveness of our staff”, says Sinead Larkin, HR Manager KTL.


The EAP services available to staff include:

  • Comprehensive telephone helplines available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

  • Formal counselling, in the form of either face-to-face or telephone sessions (as applicable)

  • Online counselling (as applicable) and online CBT

  • GP call back and medical information

  • Health and wellbeing portal

  • Serious illness and accident support (if applicable)

  • Critical incident advice

“The EAP offers a dedicated virtual library offering information and self-help guides covering a range of wellbeing issues which provide instant guidance and support for KTL staff,” said Larkin.


“We believe that the best way to serve our employees is to support their family as well. Employee's partners and dependents over 16 years’ have access to the telephone helpline for structured counselling support.”
