Parenting expert Anita Fletcher shares tips on how to raise more resilient and mindful children




Starting with setting reasonable and manageable goals, a huge part of developing resilience involves being able to work for a goal, no matter how small it is. It could be as simple as helping with a simple job around the house before they get to watch the TV.


It’s important to always practice self-regulation. Fletcher recommends to “Stop, Think, Respond” which encourages children to react to their senses (see/hear/touch).
