KTL announces 2025 Charity Partners Team Power of 1 and MSA Trust

KTL is honoured to announce its 2025 corporate fundraising partnerships with Team Power of 1 and MSA Trust

Sinead Larkin, KTL HR Manager said, “KTL are committed to supporting charities and giving back to the local community.  We asked our employees to suggest a charity that meant something to them and would really benefit from the donations.  Thanks to Danny Byrne and Donnie Walsh for nominating Team Power of 1, and Darryl Ginn for his nomination of MSA Trust.

Team Power of 1, a remarkable group of five fathers taking on the World’s Toughest Row to raise vital funds for children born with congenital heart disease (CHD). Saoirse, daughter to team member John O’Driscoll passed away tragically at 13 years of age in April 2024 after a long battle with congenital heart disease (CHD).

On December 11, 2024, Team Power of 1 began their extraordinary 5,000 km Atlantic Ocean row from Spain to Antigua, aiming to raise €500,000 for Heart Children Ireland and Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin. Their mission expresses Saoirse’s legacy of courage and generosity, providing essential support to families navigating CHD.

KTL are thrilled to support and amplify the team’s journey. An incredible effort and after 40 days at sea as we’ll be looking forward to seeing the team reach dry land on Sunday night January 19th. https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7285970351627337728
