Hybrid with travel to Head Office & sites required - Ireland

Division

Power Utilities 

The Quantity Surveyor will work within the Power division focusing on the day-to-day commercial activities of ongoing projects.

Job Scope

Needs to Have

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful career history with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential, including Advanced Excel.

  • Knowledge of current construction legislation.

  • Experience with FIDIC forms of Contract.

  • Cashflow forecasting.

  • Tracking live costs in line with budget forecasts.

  • Contract administration (FIDIC yellow book).

  • Procurement & supply chain management.

  • Regular commercial reporting.

  • Payment applications through to final account.

  • Agree BoQs and variations with clients.

  • Support project teams commercially.

Needs to Be

  • Strong communicator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Must take ownership for tasks and responsibilities.

  • Able to operate in a dynamic and fast paced organisation.

  • Detailed orientated with proven organisational ability.

  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Willing to travel when required.
