Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Awareness is a priority throughout KTL, and we constantly invest time and knowledge into maintaining and improving this.
Health and Safety
Site safety is at the forefront of activities on all KTL projects, from planning stages through to implementation and final handover. We conduct regular communication sessions and training to achieve our zero-injury policy.
Environment
We are committed to our environmental policy and constantly look to improve our performance and prevent pollution. During all our work, we strive to minimise effects on local inhabitants, the surrounding and global environment, and to prevent material damage.
Quality
Right first time is what KTL sets out to achieve. Using cutting edge technology and a team of highly trained personnel, we ensure that we deliver the best possible service for our customers.

Safety Takes
Official Priority
Anyone has the right to stop work if they feel it's unsafe to continue.
Working at Height
Always protect yourself against falls from height. Wear a harness and fall arrest system or lanyards on a fixed access ladder or climbable structure
regardless of height.
Driving
Do not exceed speed limits, never use handheld devices while driving and always wear a seatbelt.
Alcohol and Drugs
Never work or drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Exclusion Zones
Remain clear of exclusion zones and only enter if authorised to do so.
Equipment
Ensure that you have the correct plant, tools equipment and PPE. That you are competent to use them and they are in a safe and serviceable condition prior to use.
Electrical
Do not work on electrical systems unless you are competent to do so. Always verify energy isolation before commencing work.
Design
Eliminate foreseeable health and safety risks to anyone affected by the project (if possible). Take steps to reduce or control any risks that cannot be eliminated.
Mental Health
& Wellbeing
Seek support if you are experiencing any symptoms of ill health or you're concerned for someone's wellbeing.
Safety Documentation
Ensure that you have a suitable and sufficient safe system of work in place and any permits or permissions have been approved before commencing work.
